Does anyone around here besides me like doing that? Going through stories and checking in-depth for spelling errors, game bugs, and so on? I know you guys will critique a story before it's published, but I'm asking more about  specific corrections.

I mean... yes, I do that for myself, but I know from years of writing that it's easier to find someone else's mistakes than it is to see your own, partly because your brain knows exactly what you're trying to say. As a result, it may trick you when you're tired (say, when you're doing another play-through to check for errors at 3 am..) into thinking that you did write it down exactly as you meant it.

Yes, I'm aware that spell-check programs do exist, and yes, I use them. However, I find them inferior in comparison to a fellow writer / gamer.

I'm fairly certain a great deal of the authors on this site have done so.

Strangely, I think I'm starting to miss the days of a simple, direct "F*ck off."  xD Funny, (really,) but I think Daedalus beat you to this punch. Better luck next time. :P
