i put pictures in my story, but i saw a person who's pictures are all gone. I heard that you need to get a link or something or the pics will get eaten away, but how? do you need to?

If you're using html links to insert your pictures/backgrounds, you're relying on whoever posted the picture online to keep it there and maintain that website. I know Kiel often recommends uploading the pictures to a personal photobucket account. That way you can link them from there, and so long as you don't take them off your account, you won't have to worry about losing your pictures in your storygame.

I think this might be in reference to her other thread where I said the RTE would eventually eat any pictures you put in with it. Seems like I confused her there a little lol.

Just using HTML is hopefully the solution but I haven't tried it yet.

oh yea i just found a picture that was exactly right for the story today but it keeps on disappearing and i have to put it back up. I

A bug in the Rich Text Editor removes HTML code if you open up a page to edit it later. You can turn it off in your Profile, which will require you enter pics in html.
