Katrina Tackett?  Is this who Alex just proposed to?  Is she cheating on him for cysid?  LOLOLOLOLOL I'm jst kidding, but is it the same Katrina?

Yup. It sure is. I believe it was New Years Eve 2003, and Chocobot had drawn up about 30 different faces for Cysid. We eliminated it down to 3, but couldn't figure out which one to pick. We showed the page to Katrina, and she pointed to one that wasn't even in our list -- choco drew it kinda as a joke, in the margin. We then realized it was perfect.

Wow!  That's amazing.  Do you still have the page of the other 3?  I would like to see them.  I know!  Make your avatar one of them and have march do it for another and chocobot the final one.  How would that be?

If Cysid was invented in 2003, and AlexP is out of highschool (probably College)... and the site was made for a school project... and in the old posts they talked about Cysid... I'm confused. Can you clear something up Alex?

Spring Semester, 2001 ~ School Project (college, for Web Programming class), very basic, only allowed for what we call "Classic" CYOA stories (only pages and links)

Late 2001 ~ After meeting with choco+march a number of times, we expanding on the concept to add Chapters, Items, Score, etc. after a few mnths, site finally made "public"

Late 2002 / Early 2003 ~ Choco & I realized our website looked awful (it was horrible looking) and needed some fun to it. So, CYSID was invented as the site's avatar.

And choco drew them?

I bet you learned all of this stuff through the old message 'bored'.

Actually no.  It is somewhere in the About Us, Disclaimer, or Privacy Policy located right below the Who's Online thing.

Oh... I read that LAST year.
