Hey, I'm Steve, welcome to the site. If you're looking to read some stuff, the front page has some great work, and this has some good stuff that's underplayed.
If you're looking to write, as you seem to be, obviously you should look at writing a storygame, although I warn you the good ones can take months of work, so you won't get much appreciation if you spit something out in a few hours or days. Before you publish, ask some older members of the site to read over it or look for criticism in the Writer's workshop. For delicious short-term gratification, there's (I think) a monthly writing competition in the Writer's Workshop, and if not there's a bi-daily writing prompt just to hammer something out and spent twenty minutes writing to get the brain pumping.
Yeah, other than that stuff, enjoy the site.
