Item Image Quality

I've been working on adding Items to my game, but I feel a little off about the Images for them. I'm no artist, so I can't precisely make one of my own, so I've just resorted to using unlicensed images for it. I know it sounds petty, but I don't want to leave any stone unturned - does anybody even care about uniformity for the images, do they mind any images at all? What's the best course of action for a new guy like me?

Images aren't that common in storygames, so you probably won't get a general consensus. Personally as long as the images were somewhat similar in style I'd be fine with it.

Images can help a story, but I would suggest that most readers here are more focused on the story than pictures (with some exceptions).

If you're using images at all it looks better to keep them at least somewhat in the same style. Nothing too obviously cartoony mixed with real photos, and so on.
