If you are using MSIE, then the footer bar at the bottom should refresh every minute if you dont' refresh the page yourself. Like, for example, if you are writing a lot message or just bored, staring blankly at the screen.

Also, because it refreshes, notification for PM should also pop up. Let me know if you have any errors or even notice this ...

YES!YES!YES!YES!  They should have this for Outlook express and E-mails as well!

This should be in the News Catagorey.  Anyways, what is MEIA or something like that?  I have an idea.  All members who come on the site should get a message of what is new from you to everyone.  You send it once and it all piles up.  That would be such an amazing way to know of new features.
