It's been a long while, but I've finally updated the game length calculation. This is a fairly involved process, as it involves analyzing all 320+ published games and figuring out how long they are in comparison.

The new length forumula takes into account four factors:
1. Total Number of Pages
2. Total Number of Links
3. Median Number of Links Per Page
4. Median Length of the text on each Page

The factors are "weighted" and "boxed". Weighted means that some factors are taken into more consideration than others (#Pages is more counted more than #LinksPerPage). Boxed means that no single factor can outweigh the others; you have to be even across the board in order to have a high length.

This change effected all games and modified the length of most games. Things are now within a nice statistical average.

So it's more fair.  Does it compare all the other games to get the lenth?

Small Update -- I changed the "Boxing" factor to "3" instead of "2".

This means that, if anyone of the four factors is "3" levels away from the others, it will "smooth out" the other factors.
