As suggested here, David C. Lovelace's completely awesome, totally brilliant concept of RPS-25 has been incorporated into a duel called RPS.
RPS is based on the ever-popular game Rock Paper Scissors. As you gain more experience points on the site, you'll gain access to more gestures to use against your oponents. There are twenty-five different gestures, providing over 300 different combintations.
As you gain more experience (EXP) points, you will unlock new gestures. Every 50 points you earn will unlock two additional symbols. But note that everyone now starts at "zero" -- you have to gain these points on top of your current to unlock the symbols.
Please support David by checking out his RPS-25 store: http://www.cafepress.com/animalbabies/862340. I think I may just have to pick up a poster myself ...
i just got 2 new choices. sweet! lol
nate
seriously? sweet man. thanks. gave me air and fire. in my first draft of that article i had more "topics" but couldnt remember them after having to redo it. once i figure more out i will edit it.
When you get 2 new gestures, are they given at random?
i dont think so. me and 3j, i think, have the same 2 new choices. not very random lol.
i have 4 new ones now
i think i have 7 in all now. ill have to look again.
*two articles...
I just lost 13 in a row to hiddendragon.. but then I won them back by rating stuff, so I s'pose it's okay.
I just got devil and wolf. lol sweet!
im not sure i want to know lol
= A tiger cub sipping a mocha latte. lol
Haha. Are dogs supposed to like rice?
i havent a clue. my dog didnt live long enough for me to get accustomed to his favorite dishes.
shhhhh!!! youll get the havy police lol.
you can disagree with the article. no skin off my back. however, know that it has worked for others. even before i finished writing the article, someone who proofread it said that it had alraedy helped them.
as for your rock, that was in the article. most, meaning on average, beginners pick rock. its just a numbers thing. as for luck. yes, i never said there was no luck. there is an element of luck in the game. however, i wrote the article to express how to lower the luck factor and raise the skill factor.
Im 100% behind nate on this one.
Name something without an element of luck, i dare you. However almost anything (besides rolling dice, etc.) has a n element of skill as well.
sleeping, dying, aging, seezing... all these require no skill lol
Incorrect.
Sleeping does require skill. Look at insomniacs, without the skill of sleepign you cant sleep.
Dying, well teh opposite is true. Nto dyign takes skill.
Aging, not agining takes skill.
Sneezing, hmm. IT TAKES SKILL TO HOLD IT OFF, LET ME TELL YOU.
insomniacs do not have a lack of skill. they cant sleep due to multiple factors, physical, mental, biological and such. all of which have nothing to do iwth skill. its a disorder.
well ok, but therefore, the next time you get a cold or a flu, tell the doc you dont want any medicine cause you will overcome it with your spidey senses lol
when your body "rights itself", is that skill or nature? whether by design or evolution, our bodies were created to survive. thats survival of the fittest there, not really skill... oh well, thats theory and opinion again. lol
