We've decided to balance out the default point awards a little more fairly. This is the default and may be increased on a case-by-case basis.

  • Publish Storygame - 25 Points (was 10)
  • Accept Feature Idea - 5 Points (was 20)
  • Publish Article - 10 Points (was 50)

This makes a lot more sense to us -- the site has a lot of features right now and needs some strong content. So, let's start focusing on that.

Also a few bugs were fixed.

hmm i see. make it harder to get points in the long run.  can we get 5 points for reportign a bug, but we get the points when its fixed?

Aww, if that happen, i would be disappointed since i already report a bug in and it was already squash..

Bug points given on a case-by-case basis: if you finda typo, obviously that's nt worth a point. But if you uncover something and then give steps on how to reproduce it (Havvy and Nate have done this a few times), I may award some points for this.

Biggest cost by far is time.

Doesn't cost me anything to host because i'm piggy backing on my other site's server.
