Friggin Kurt Vonnegut and his friggin annoying writing style. I love it. I just finished Cat's Cradle, and while I still prefer Slaughter-House Five, it is definitely a worthy read. The religious lies of Bokonon. The mystery of ice-9. The man behind it. Let's just say, there was never a better way to end the world.
There is something about his writing style I enjoy. Everything weaves together, and he writes as if nothing is a big deal. There could be a mass genocide and all he would say is "so it goes". That, of course, doesn't mean the situation isn't dire.
I wanted to know, however...... Are there any other bookse similar to this? I've already read Catch-22 and I just finished Alex Crow - Both splendid. If you know of any topsy-turvy books, please tell me!
