So, I was looking back at some of the books that have been recommended in the past here, and I saw that Madglee had posted on A Confederacy of Dunces. Some of you guys said you'd look it up, but did you ever? haha
I'm like 6 or 7 chapters in right now, and it is absolutely hilarious! There is rarely a moment when someone is not being an asshole about something, and being completely comical while doing it. Here's a link to the old thread, by the way:

So, Ignacious is probably one of the funniest characters I've ever read. Given what I know about some of you guys, I know you'd mostly all enjoy it, if not all of you. The plot or story is kinda hard to explain, at least given the point in the story that I'm in. Normally I'd try to give a sort of background, but all you really need to know is that everyone is an asshole, racist, and hates/is scared of Ignacious. Ignacious is a fat douchebag who doesn't want to work for anything, and anytime he's made to do any kind of work, he claims that he can't because his "valve" is closed. It honestly may not sound great the way I explain it, but it's definitely something that you guys should pick up and read. I'd imagine that you'd start laughing immediately, within, at least, the first 5-10 pages.
