What's your favorite MMO out there? Would you recommend it to someone else? It can be something you have to purchase, something you can just download for free, or a text-based game online.

Not a big fan of MMO's, but vainglory is a fun moba for iPhone.

Vainglory was pretty fun but I had to delete it due to the amount of storage it took up. (Yes, I'm the kind of person who has the "your storage is almost full" message popping up at least twice a day.)

Crowfall seems good, if they decide to do a one-pay method.

Project Genom is also interesting, if they can handle player infrastructure right.

Warframe is as casual as casual gets when you bring friends.

FFXIV is as hardcore as hardcore gets without becoming as broken as WoW.

Escape from Tarkov might just be good...if it doesn't turn into another failed Stalker port.

I'd recommend more, but they all died by now.  There used to be a lot more gems back in the day...

It's 99% PvE.  What ads were you watching?  XD

The ads for Destiny, obviously.

FFXIV, though I still have a soft spot for Ragnarok Online. Yes, and I have done so before.

MMOs are all just a hub that companies use to make money off of salty bitches and entitled sociopaths (and/or entitled sociopaths and salty bitches) by clicking numbers to make them bigger endlessly and only sometimes entertainingly. They are disgusting, faith-in-humanity-wasting, life-sucking clusterfucks of interpersonal destruction where being a dick is not only the norm, but a code of conduct.

Which is why I recommend Warframe, because not only is it not a money whore, but it also doesn't force you to play with or against the vile, wretched, ruthless scum of humanity that so unfailingly overpopulate these dark and lonely corners of the web, following what has been my philosophy in gaming since forever: If you want a fun, multiplayer experience, invite your actual friends. Don't leave that shit up to the internet, or you'll come out with a wasted hour and a broken heart, and a man only has so many hours in his life that he can waste.

Hey, Path of Exile's pretty good at customizable combat.

Destiny...?

In reality, I like Warframe, but I never play it anymore because of Halo 5.

Any recommendations for an MMO that promotes social/non-combat skills? :P Kind of in the mood to play as a friendly farmer.

Ultima Online. *snigger*

Warframe.  It's no mere euphemism when we say we farm for stuff.

Lol Wurm Unlimted is good in that feild. Just a little to much grinding unless you move up the settings. Don't try Wurm Online though, that was cancer.
