Hello, as you may know I do enjoy the idea of superheroes. I've grown up watching cartoons and television shows, reading books, and even making poorly created comics about superheroes. I just wanted to have a little place to brainstorm and dump out my ideas publicly. Feel free to critique, comment on or even question ideas, or add your own.

(I wasn't sure whether or not to put this in the writing workshop or not, so if I was mistaken, please correct me.)

Maybe an individual who can eat and digest any substance without harm? I would like to have that ability. I can remember many times I could not chew a certain tough food, or hope to even swallow a large portion of my meal.

Ah. Pica.

Perhaps. My master is a strange one, if I will say the least. What is the saying? You get what you get?

Shadow striding : the ability to go into a shadow and come out of a shadow hundreds of miles away a second  later.

Like Nightcrawler's teleportation power?

Um, let me see.....

Name: Ellis "Shadow"

Age: 25

Appearance: He has blonde hair and brown eyes. His favorite coat is usually scarred with mutant claw marks and scratches.

Personality: Very jokey and likes to have a laugh. The rest is basically Spider Man's personal.

Backstory: Ellis was young when the apocalypse came. The mutants killed his parents and hurt him badly. But the radiation gave him the power to fight off the enemies. Ellis found out that he was then able to warp between shadow and reality, plus a few goodies. He now is called "Shadow" and roams the wasteland to save innocents from the incoming enemy threat.

Superpower: He can warp between shadow and reality. Ellis can also cast fireballs and ice to a certain degree, as well as perfect reflex.

Inventory: Ellis uses a worn out katana. Along with that he wears a mask that resembles Shredder from TMNT and a black cape. In normal wasteland form he carries his red cap and a white and red T-Shirt.

Advantage: Ellis's humorous nature allows him to confront many threats "bravely". Ellis also has no fear of mutants and can sprint long distances to a certain limit.

Disadvantage: Ellis HATES government officials, snipers, and soldiers. He tends to not make himself known in the populace.

And yes, I did it RPG style.

No he has to be in a  shadow to "shadow port "  unlike nightcrawler who can port freely.

That's a really cool idea. I'm sure that ability would always be handy. In the dessert, with nothing to eat? Go ahead and chomp some sand. Stuck in jail? Sure, go chew through the metal bars, or even, dig a hole all the way out only with your mouth.

The ability to block the flow of universal energy (think Tao) through an object or creature, twisting its nature and turning it into a demon.

The ability to redo your life as many times as you want, from any points of your life. When you travel back in time, it'll always be the timeline of your last redo. So, for example, you walk into a restarurant, ate everything, then travel back to the time before you walked into the restaurant, and repeat as many times as you want. Of course, there are other, much better things to do, that you'd want to repeat. 

The ability to turn any money you see into its value in US quarters. Surprisingly practical for rich people, and limitless fun at strip clubs.

Able to survive fire without being burned unless your hot. (As in heat.)

Is the effect permanent? Or only in range?

I'm guessing the latter. If it was permanent it would be too overpowered to be a super hero. Like superman
