I'm not sure how popular lucid dreaming is, so I'm creating this to gain further in sight into it as well as dreams in general.
I'm not exactly positive on whether or not it truly was a lucid dream, but I believe I had an experience.
It wasn't anything too grand. Just shapeshifting into different creatures on command, lol.
I got really close to lucid dreaming once. I was wondering why weird things were happening in my dream and I was on the verge of realising I was dreaming, but then something appeared that made me think it was too realistic and detailed to be a dream. Damn my subconscious!
I've done it a couple times, but it's really hard trying to get the right dream that makes you realize, "oh wait, this is a dream." It takes a whole lot of luck.
I'd say it was more like a lucid nightmare for me, and I woke up when I realized.
It's been stated that if you're a gamer, you are more likely to lucid dream.

I have lucid dreams about once a month. Most of them involve me flying though. Which is badass. *Sigh* So glad I am a gamer.
You're lucky, I've only had one. And it was a nightmare.
It's strange too, because I'm also a gamer.
Weird.
I wish I had that many, I would be doing so many cool things.
In my lucid dream, I could change into an eagle. Shame I don't have lucid dreams as often as you do, though.
I too, have had lucid dreams, though my subconcious being me, most of them end with something dragging me out of lucidity, or me screwing myself over.
