Yeah, I haven't even begun to scratch the surface of this expansion and it's already continuing the quality of the original game. They even added some general improvements as far as organizing your inventory is concerned.

You have to be a pretty high level before starting this expansion, like the mid 30s. Currently I'm already getting quests in the mid 40 range and I only just hit level 40 myself.

The setting is different. It's less of a grim tone and more fairy tale noble knight stuff though naturally there is a lot more shady things going on than the happy green place would indicate. Reminds me of High Garden from Game of Thrones. Still, the average citizens seem to be more civil and impressed with you and aren't calling you a mutant whenever you pass by.

Highly recommended if you already like Witcher 3.

I like hunting fairy tale creatures.

Definitely one of my top 10 DLC expansions.

I’ve heard that if you start a "new game plus" and you’re over level 50 or something high like that, the difficulty of the enemies jumps up to an insane level and they’re nearly impossible to fight since they one shot you all the time. Even more so with the Blood and Wine expansion.

Yeah (The ghouls at the start were like lvl 35-40) and Death March makes it a bitch to get through.

That was a great expansion. I didn’t even get the best ending for it, (In fact I probably got worst one) but given the Witcher setting I think it was pretty appropriate. Besides, Geralt still got his personal happy ending so I’m chalking it up as a win.

Main quest, side quests, the battles, more lore, everything was just perfect, I don’t have a single complaint. (Okay the last battle was giving me grief temporarily)

More expansions should be like this one and this was a good ending for the series or at least Geralt’s adventures.
