So uh.

Am I the only one thats noticed, in story games that have no plot what so ever. The characters are like, wolf furries.

Seriously.

This is how I will now grade the story games I play.

1:Everything Endmaster makes.

2. That one dungeon game.

3. Fail warrior stories.

4. Something involving furries.

5. Something involving homoerotic content.

6. Semi homoerotic content.

7. The occasional good story.

I feel as if this is somekind of elebarote inside joke either the site or the author has, that I just sit there and go "What"

Wait, why would good stories be at the bottom, wouldn't they go near the top?

You also forgot to mention where all the countless zombie stories would go in your ranking system.

Most of the zombie ones are good.

Most meaning the ones I have read.

And I didn't list them in any particular order.

(Secretly the zombie ones have furries in them or are erotic)

I can't remember if DMW has a furry zombie in it or not...

Your grading scale makes me worry about the future of humanity.

I remember a mutant hell hound type creature in DMZ but thankfully no furries.

Didn't even realize there was a lot of mixing of the two themes on this site.

Yeah, these damn furries and their African Stars pack took the best title ever for this site, "Detective" and made it into a bullshit character interview game with no detective work at all, and it was as linear as all hell, and about 8 pages long. (About one page long if you put it into MS Word)

Then the newer christmas snow ball one.

Its a 'find out who done it' and I was like "Oh this is cool"
I question one of the characters "A male red wolf" and I go "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON, DAMNIT"

Jihelu, where in the world is this homoerotic content you speak of? I have yet to play a lot more games, but I don't think I've seen any.

Also, I'm gonna have to echo others on this thread about those furry stories that came out of left field. They came out of nowhere and I had no idea characters in these stories were supposed to be wolves until I read further. I expected better of something called Detective. I wouldn't even have minded it being furry if it were good and was an actual mystery. It's really weird.

Actually I have only read one, if you count Endmaster, but that would go under the Endmaster section...also anything by Endmaster is perfect, it was some kind of circus thing, and the only way to get a good ending was RANDOM AS HELL sexy time with your guy best friend.

Eh.

Not because I dislike that stuff, it was just poorly executed.

Wait, what? I never had any gay scenes in the Geek story. The Geek pretty much doesn't have any sexual encounters with anyone, male or female, he doesn't have any friends either.

Unless you count the endings when the clowns rape you, but that's not a win and not really homoerotic so much as its brutal sexual assault.

Oh, gotcha. For a second there, I thought there was a whole lot of fujoshi fiction or the like that I happened to miss.

From the sound of the description, it was Geek, right? I'll have to play that one some time. It's been on my radar for a while but I still haven't managed to play it yet.
Funny that you say Endmaster is perfect yet still admit that there's something in one of his works you think is poorly executed. It's good to be critical of things you like.

I still dunno what he could be talking about though, the Geek never hooks up with anyone in any ending.

Huh. Looks like Jihelu gave me the wrong impression of one of the game's scenes. It would make sense that a rape scene would be scarring, but man, that is very far off. He mentioned a best friend, though. If the Geek has no friends, maybe it's another story they were thinking of?

It couldn't be any of my stories, I don't have any gay protagonists.

The ONLY one that might qualify is a short "gay path" in "A Very Special Story" but it doesn't result in a win either. (None of the paths do though)

Talk about misleading. So much for a grade for homoerotic content. My apologies for thinking any of this was true, even if it was only brief. I suppose the lesbian endings from Tales from the Basement you mentioned count as something, but it doesn't sound like what Jihelu was describing. Oh well. Better just play the games myself.

Going back through my stories, there are a couple places where Suzy from Good Girl (Tales From the Basement) can get with another girl, but only one of those is positive, the other one is rather neutral.

And the positive ending isn't with her best friend, it's her brother's hippy girlfriend.

Now the other ending does involve her best friend, but the friend also rather slutty and cheats on you with two guys at her party like a few moments after she sleeps with you.

I don't think I really got graphic in either lesbian scene though and probably wasn't what Jihelu had in mind when he mentioned reading something homoerotic.

The only reason I mentioned Endmaster is because everything you write is sexy to me.

Even the scene I was talking about wasn't about yours, I was talking about a different circus game. Geek didn't have any of those, I don't think.
