I played a new game published today and when I got to the end, it showed the end game/leave comments as an option, but it wouldn't do anything when I clicked it. Here's the game. I don't get why this happened.

Hmm, same thing here, and no one else has finished it yet either.

When this has happened before, all it took was a click on the 'go back' button and then re-click the link I had clicked on before and it usually worked just fine after that, but even the go back button didn't work this time.
 

Huh, I ran into the same issue and was thinking it might just be my computer. I messaged the author about it already, just in case they were wondering about the lack of response.

This is the second game (that I know of) that nmelssx has posted. It's a cool little game too. I wonder what could have caused it.

It was like a sparkling oasis after all the Warrior Cats dreck I've been slogging through, but it's a really neat game in it's own right too, I've never seen anyone do anything like that with the editor before and I think I must have played it just for fun like half a dozen times already.

Maybe he made it as a troll game? Or accidentally blocked the link?

I don't think he did this on purpose.

Y'all people crazy. You obviously have to win to beat the game, the end game link is fake and just refreshes the page if you didn't win. So go gambling for a while until you get more money xD

But..... you can't gamble more after you get over 400 gold.

Go for 500 gold :P

So you can't bet 200 on the first game?
 

I just got 500 gold, I think the end game links are broken. *goes to try something that may or may not force the end game links to work*

Nope it's just broken. I can't get to the end game without knowing the number of pages or javascript encrypt to get to the end game page :P oh well, it'll probably be unpublished and republished with proper end game links.

So sorry guys. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. The links are fixed now.

What happened was that I made it so that when you have 0 gold, or 400 or over 400 gold, it brings you to those pages, no matter what links you click, since I put it in the global link script. I now realize that every link means it was including the End Game and Leave Comments link too, so I changed it, and now it's fixed.

LOL! Oh, gawd. You did it again ...? *facepalms* Dammit, I warned you about this one when I helped you fix it on your ninja game... xD ah, well. Happens. I've made some pretty terrible scripting blunders, myself.

Yeah. I thought about that time when you warned me after I saw this thread, and I face palmed. Hard. The thing is, I didn't try to rate my story game this time, so that's why I never clicked on the End Game and Leave Comments link.

Why? You can click the end game link without leaving a rating xD

Because I didn't want to comment on it either, so there was no point in clicking it. 

You don't have to leave a comment anyway xD

1.Once you click the Endgame link, just click the "X" and exit the page.

2. Or, once you click the Endgame link, just click "Click here to continue" and then click "No Thanks". (Both will be at the bottom).

Well, I wasn't expecting it to be looping back to itself, otherwise I would. XD But yes, next time I create a story game I will be testing the End Game and Leave Comments links.
