it isnt proper etiquette to tell secrets about someone elses games. dont do this again please. focus on yoru own games.

why do they have a walkthrough for it then? I was just addind in a bit of hidden info.

unfortunately there is no walkthrough. however, that is not really up to us to make. its the author who has the only rite to make one if he/she so chooses.

let me explain my point here...

lets say i spent the time to memorize every link in your first game. then i went and posted the walkthrough for everyone to see. this would allow them to just click the links that i say to and they wouldnt have to read or anything. they would just fly through yoru game without even playing it really. this allows them not to have to replay your game until they beat it. it ruins the replayability on someones game. not cool really. thats why its not up to us to make walkthroughs for other peoples games. make sense?

There is a walkthrough! go to the game and on the 1st page u will have 4 options. 1 of those is the BLOODY WALKTHROUGH!!!!!

i was refering to the forums. but yes, there is a walkthrough in the game. but i think my point still stands.

FWIW, I disagree and encourage sharing secrets like this (just so long as you say it's a secret, or spoiler in the title). I can never find stuff like this in adventure games and always have to use walkthroughs.

And FYI -- beholder is one of my accounts. I helped "thatguy" a bitwith the WM game, like giving ideas on how to do technical things and stuff. I even had to add a feature just for him to get the WM game done.

well i did say etiquette. lol so if you want to go and encourage bad etiquette then by all means, you are the head honcho around here. lol fine by me. just trying to bring a little class to the place. (sips his capaccino)

You figured it out!  Now all you need to do is notice the difference between the newbie forum and the Feature wishing well.

I would say that Alex (beholder) should finish Lodin's Quest.  I know how his partner really hates unfinished games. (even though 2 of his are also that way)

To be fair -- Lodin's Quest was really meant to test out all features of the Advanced Editor when it first came out (yes, it's that old!). I'd love for someone to adopt it and finish it though.

When you make that game it gives others time to make that game.

It's an interesting discussion though -- I don't want to have "rules" on stuff like this.

But -- as an author -- if I put a really cool secret in my storygame that was next to impossible to find -- I'd be absolutely delighted if people found it and were all excited and talking about it. What about you?
