what makes ulysses so great? well, im sure there are multiple reasons that cant be figured out. however, lets look at some simple things first.
first, anyone can write a story. however, only a few people have the ability to write an engaging story.
second, anyone can "flower" up a story. meaning, adding flavor text. most tend to either way over, or way under do this. however, a select few writers know how to add just what is needed for both information and experience.
ulysses does both of those things masterfully.
