Only "hero" I can remember is Ari from OMS. Maybe rephrase it to protaganist so you can include Endmaster's work.
But honestly, most stories don't really have a main character you connect with. I guess since you're supposed to take the role of the character, it's a bit easier to write with an open character rather than one with a fixed personality.
