Ok following all the comments I was given during the 6-8 hours of my first story being published I pulled it down and basically overhauled it entirely, then spent months editing and correcting.

Also it is no longer the first of a 2 part but is an entire story.

I have now reached the end of the time I can spend editing it atm so it is back up! Give it a go and leave feedback please.

Great Story! I like what you did with it and I'm glad to see it finished. I upped my original Rating on it from a 5 to a 7.

I'm glad :) make sure to play a different branch or two though as the main ones can diverge quite a lot.

Is there a way to reset ratings as I would like to clear the ones from before (the 1 rating that it was given)

Nope.

Well he could always recreate the story and just copy-paste every page into a new one, remake each link, rewrite each page title, ect...

That way he would have fresh ratings.

(But really, just PM alexp if you think the rating is total crap (which I'm inclined to agree). However, a 1 is outside the median (which is how the overall rating is calculated, so it's not having an impact really (other than being an eyesore perhaps....)
