Hey guys and girls,

I plan on writing a romance, but with the subject matter involved, I was wondering if I could publish it as one. I will avoid too many details for now, but it involves:

• A serial killer (graphic descriptions are included)
• A fairly significant age difference
• Sex (maybe, though not guaranteed)

Yes, this would make it different from many of the romances on the site, but could it work?

Is she romancing a serial killer? Because it's actually difficult to write that assuming that you're trying to still keep it realistic and the protagonist isn't also a complete sociopath. (If she is also a complete sociopath, then it's really easy)

Yes, to your first question. However, the story actually takes place from the perspective of the serial killer; the girl is not a sociopath, nor will she ever be (at least, from what I have in my mind so far).

Writing it from the perspective of the serial killer is probably easier to do, since I assume it's going to involve a lot suppressing of urges, keeping secrets, trying to sort out love from twisted obsession, the possible temptation to ruin this person (Not necessarily even kill) attempting to feel human emotions and such.
