The lowdown on trophies.

OK--so you really want to collect all the trophies, right?  Not sure about how to get them or even what they do?   If you covet recognition for your deeds, this the article for you.

Will you succeed in this quest for glory, or be exiled to the pit of shame?

 

Name of Trophy What the picture is How to get it
100 point trophy The Roman numeral - C.  C symbolizes 100. This Silver Trophy engraved with the Roman Numeral C symbolizes this user has earned 100 Points. It is automatically given at 12.00AM ET to every user with over 99 points. Members with this Trophy have made some contributions to the site.
500 Point trophy The Roman numeral - D. D symbolizes 500 This Silver Trophy engraved with the Roman Numeral D symbolizes this user has earned 500 Points. It is automatically given at 12.00AM ET to every user with over 499 points. Members with this Trophy have made significant contributions to the site.
1000 Point trophy The Roman Numeral - M. M symbolizes 1000. This Silver Trophy engraved with the Roman Numeral M symbolizes this user has earned 1000 Points. It is automatically given at 12.00AM ET to every user with over 999 points. Members with this Trophy have made many contributions to the site. This is a difficult trophy to attain.
2000 Point Trophy The Roman Numeral M, displayed twice. This Silver Trophy engraved with the Roman Numeral MM symbolizes this user has earned 2000 Points. It is automatically given at 12.00AM ET to every user with over 1999 points. Members with this Trophy have made very important contributions to the site. There will never be many members with this trophy as it is incredibly difficult to attain and shows that the user who has it is among the top users on this site.
5000 Point Trophy The Roman Number V with a bar over it. This Platinum Trophy is engraved with the Roman Numeral V with a little bar over it; this indicates that this user has earned 5000 points.  The little bar over the V is called a vinculum.  This trophy is automatically given at 12.00AM ET to every user with over 4999 points.  Members with this Trophy have displayed a laudable devotion to the site worthy of being remembered in the songs of minstrels forever.  No user who does not have this trophy may make eye contact with any user who has it.
Infinite Points Trophy A silver trophy with the symbol of infinity on it. Given to those who have transcended the need for their points to be measured.  It is a sign of apotheosis and the casting aside of the mortal shell. 
Contest Winners Trophy A golden trophy with a medal on it. This is a Gold Trophy with a medal on it: a very rare trophy which is awarded to any player who wins a story-writing contest. Winning a contest requires very strong writing skills.
Featured Story Trophy A silver trophy with a star on it. This is a Silver Trophy with a star on it. All Story games are divided into categories and a few games from each category are deemed strong enough to be featured. If you write one of these stories you will be awarded this trophy.   Members who receive this trophy are recognized as great writers.
Community Contributor Trophy A blue trophy with a spade on it This trophy, made of lapis lazuli, bears the sigil of a spade for some mysterious reason.  This award, given only after careful consideration by the Powers That Be, denotes that the honoree has given their valuable time and efforts over an extended time to make this site a better place.  Members who receive this trophy are entitled to wear a blue sash across their chest at all CYS ceremonies.
Lucky Dueler Trophy

An emerald trophy with a four leaf clover on it.

 A emerald trophy with a four-leaf clover on it. This is the rarest trophy on the site and the only way to get it is to have the top duelling percentage (wins/loss) on the site. This trophy is a wild card and winning it is based on luck rather than skill.  Sort of.
Top Rater Trophy A gray trophy with a check mark on it. A Gray Trophy made of adamantium with a check mark on it. Players who earn this trophy have read and rated at last half the games on the site. It is awarded as 12AM ET every night. Those who have rated at least 95% of the games on this site earn a Supreme Rater Trophy which is the same as a Top Raters Trophy but glowing, and therefore superior. This means the owner of this trophy has read practically every story on this site, an impressive achievement; there will never be very many users with this trophy.
Forum Poster Trophy  A pink trophy with a speech "bubble" A pink trophy with a speech bubble made of cinnabar. If you have made it into the top ten users with the most forum posts this award will be given to you to signify your supreme chattiness. If you are in the top three forum posters you will receive the Supreme Forum Poster Trophy which is the same as a Forum Poster Trophy but glowing, and therefore superior. Members who own these trophies are dedicated site members who spend a great deal of time on the Forums. 
Bug Hunter Trophy A ruby trophy with a bug on it. This ruby trophy with a bug on it indicates that you are among the top three people to find bugs on the site.  You will not be getting this trophy.  Don't worry about it.
