Welcome to my profile! I'm Mousecore, or Mouse. They/them pronouns because I'm three mice connected by one hive mind.
I like to read and review storygames. Eventually I hope to publish my own provided that I lock the fuck in and not get distracted. With that being said, if you like my reviews and want me to take a look at your story, send it my way and I'll check it out.
My PMs are open for those who want to chat, or you can ask for my Discord since CYS PMs are so 2001.
Outside of writing and reading, I'm an avid enjoyer of sports, technology/programming, and gaming.

How to Spot AI-Generated WorkWith AI-generated fiction on the rise, it's important to understand whether or not what you're reading is written by a real human. This article aims to establish major overarching concepts behind AI writing (especially in fiction) and how to find these patterns in the wild even as AI models progress over time.

Also most games played with racquets and things you can hit with racquets (tennis, badminton, ping pong, etc).
I have no idea if this counts but I've been told I have very strong navigational skills and rarely get lost. I think it's just that people my age are too dependent on GPS for everything though.

Defend your taste in music on 12/4/2025 10:12:03 PM
I exclusively listen to Lana del Rey while hitting legs at the gym.
She was my top artist this year. I hit a lot of leg days.

Wow Flight Rising is a mythical pull from my elementary school days. This might be the push to get me back on it.

"Damn."
A trio of pitiful sqeaks can be heard originating from...the heavens, somewhere, probably.
"I understand Anthraxus' decision, though not this early into our fight against the trolls. Unfortunately, I was not a troll either. Indeed, Gryphon and I were mod and CYStian. The pool of legitimate voters is shrinking. Please take great caution."

So this was meant to be a reply to Enter but I also meant to make my own list of recs anyway so fuck it I'm replying here.
I figured it was lame to beg other people for recommendations but not also give my own.
What I've been listening to this week:
Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath - I was a major metalhead when I was younger, and even if I don't have as strong an affinity for the genre now, I'll always respect Ozzy's Sabbath stuff. Outside its fire ass self-titled intro, this album is seriously kind of funky and has a diverse sound to it.
Exuma, the Obeah Man by Exuma - I was reminded of this album this week and decided to give it another listen. I can't say I have Bahamian folk music in my daily rotation but Exuma made quite a banger here.
Live. Love. A$AP by A$AP Rocky - I love a nice, head-empty rap record. This is a fun one for working out or driving around with some friends.
Four-Calendar Cafe by Cocteau Twins - One of my favorite albums by one of my favorite artists. I have a major soft spot for dreampop so this was an instant love for me when I first heard it, if you're into that kind of stuff then give this one a try.
Songs for the Deaf and ...Like Clockwork by Queens of the Stone Age - I didn't listen to both of these in full this week or anything, but songs from both leaked into my daily mix and I fucked with them heavy. Good accompaniment for working out and driving. I should get into QotSA more, was a bigger fan a few years ago than now.
And finally I'm going to second Liminal's recommendation of Lady Lamb because I listened to Ripely Pine and had a lot of fun with it.

Blister doesn't explain it at all on 9/30/2025 10:40:25 PM
The only thing I've gleaned from this thread is that Blister is going to have the time of his life rebelliously experimenting in college.
