What she is doing/Thinking
Sh's been tailing this soviet spy for a whole week. But her minds not in it. She was recruited when she first turned 18, she's lost her youth. What would it be like to dye her hair purple? Wear popular Harajuku fashion? Laugh obnoxiously with real friends whilst spilling popcorn all over movie go-ers in a cinema?
She suddenly realises, she's never been to that popular cafe chain, for no reason other than she never has time.
Come to think of it, she hasn't done any more watercolours of succulents since the huge Berlin issue. That could be due to her job's high demands, or she could blame it on the fact that she swore Jenny from Ballistics stole them. If she wanted to test pigments and effects she should have bought her own.
But there's something else, it's been on her mind for years. Something a political prisoner once asked her whilst in the middle of an interrogation.
"What do you miss most?"
"Tea" She replied,"warm bittersweet milky tea."
The question still rings in her head even now. It's not really tea, even though she misses that quite a bit, it' tea with quiet rainy afternoons in her grandmother's pension apartment, and that old plush green-eyed cat. She missed having family. It is the embodiment of things such as security, comfort, love, and of course homemade meals.
