Player Comments on Armed Forces Quest: Terrorist Attack!

This isn't exactly a storygame. There is no story to it, and virtually no defined characters or backstories. Who am I? Who am I fighting? Who are my comrades? Where is the battlefield located? I have so many unanswered questions for this story, and perhaps I may never get an answer to them. This storygame is far too short and extremely linear: you either pick the right option and get to advance, or pick the wrong option and get slapped in the face with an End Game link.

The writing itself wasn't any better, either. It was basic, choppy and mediocre at best. The average page length was horrendously short, mere sentences per page instead of paragraphs. Nothing was fully explained and the only reward I get for "winning" was some kind of badge that I wouldn't put on my profile or signature anywhere. Instead of having the of satisfaction of finishing a good story, I get nothing.

So short nice plot but lame length and really, really easy!! Good job but I'd like to see it remade better.

Way too short, and there are a thousand stories similar to this.

It was way too short. It was a fine game idea however.

Extremely short. I probably would've enjoyed this game more if it was longer. I also would love to see variables come into play. I think it's a great start, but I would love to see more work done on this game and it could be great.

Quite short, but it isn't the most horrible storygame I have played. It wasn't too bad, apart from the grammar and short sentences, it wasn't bad but not too fantastic either.

...I can see why this is two stars...Multiple grammar issues, kind of short, and other...things.

A reasonable into but needs to be way longer

I wish there was an easy mode for people who don't play Call of Duty where it explains the tactical advantage to certain scenarios. Really good story though and fun to play

I like the game. Make it longer and if you are experienced in the art of story Book creating, make chapters and all that stuff. Love the game.

An improvement form the first but slightly short if all are going to be this short just group them together.

It's definitely an improvement on the first one, and I like the little pin you gave at the end for people to put in their forums, but I left it anyway 'cos the background's all weird and I can't read it :p

I enjoyed the victory!

most fun if you choose different types of soilders

better than number one, but almost no description.

Better than your last one. More options, a little bit better spelling, and made a tiny bit more sense. Still, it wasn't the best. Could have been longer and though the spelling improved it still was to be desired. Try to make your stories longer and spell check.

Although this is better and longer than the last game, it's too short and pointless to be a storygame.

I can find ten errors in that passage.

"You take Cover and BOOM the ground shakes BOOM again the ground shakes. You can hear Shouts from the terrorists they have jumped into the last truck to try and escape! BOOM the bomb on that Truck Blows up and kills the remaining Terrorists. Sadly 4 of civillians were killed in the blast but the General still congratulates you!

I like the bonus at the end and I would really like to see a long game published. I hope you can make it longer. I had fun on this one :)

there's no info at the beginning, so the choice of team members is really a random selection, as is every other action we take.

I'm rating these higher than I normally would b/c of how they tie into the site. Particularly like the badge of honor at the end.

I know its short (or maybe im wrong) But play it a couple of times and go different routes as some are longer than others
