I really love the story but the the fact that you HAVE to give in at the end for super heroic kind of disappointed me but outside of that it's an amazing story.

This is and has always been an amazing series, and Homo Perfectus 8 was the perfect end to it.
I've played it a million times yet I never get tired of it.
One thing- I have no idea how to catch Black Locust! Is it impossible???

I've played this maybe 4 times and I still cannot figure out how to catch the bug thief. However, I FINALLY figured out how to beat photon. And since I myself was looking for a way to defeat him, I'll help the next person out.

OK, finally figured out how to beat Photon, but... even with this Super-Heroic ending...
""Googles? What happened?"
"Good morning to you too" Googles replies and disconnects himself from the power source.
"Where is Photon?"
"Photon? You mean that failed science project Gharus tried to create?"
"Failed?"
"Yeah, the chamber was empty when he opened it, don't you remember?"
I look out the window, at Gorgon city, and see that everything is normal. The church is gone, the houses look normal. Everything is back to normal. Photon, and everything he did, has been undone."

I get this eerie feeling that what if... Photon hacked into googles and altered the MC's brain without MC knowing so that ending was just an illusion MC is experiencing? @@

It is a very well thought of and good written game and it definitely deserves to receive an 8/8. But... am I missing something to beat Photon or was the game designed for it to be unbeatable ?

THE STORY WAS BEAUTIFUL
It was very interesting. Even if I skipped some parts of the story( other books or interactive books), I really liked the whole thing. You should ask someone to help you transform this beautiful story into something like a video game( third person action/adventure!), a movie or an animated series( a movie could look scary).

Problems: The character's power should evolve: we don't have the impression of becoming stronger. (Don't make things too complicated too ??)

A good game, very Mass Effect. Although, using the Go Back Button and realizing that you should really collect all the characters makes this a piece of cake.

I haven't played the other Homo Perfectus stories. Nonetheless, I liked this game. It takes a hell of a long time to get through, though.

I actually preferred the system that existed where senses could be set to a percentage as a couple of times I had the right idea, but just clicking too early made it seem like I couldn't do the thing I wanted to do.

This was an amazing game.

This was slightly different than other Homo Perfectus games, but nonetheless, it was brilliant.

The new characters were cool, they were mysterious - and it made them even more interesting, Haste was hilarious, and there were some upsetting parts too - which made the game even better.

It took me a while to complete this. Even then, the game was suspenseful.

Unlike other storygames, the way you made the items was interesting.

I congratulate you making a marvellous game. I can see why this is rated so high.

I loved the team building aspect (though I felt like I was stretching further and further with the kinds of people I was allying myself with...). Overall, an awesome experience.

That was long as all-get-out, but totally worth it. If I had to give a complaint, it'd be that some of the power/teammate uses feel a bit forced. Overall, a great entry in the Homo Perfectus series.

This is the kind of story/game i was hoping to find. Had to do a lot of thinking and retries. The story was very linear in the fact you didnt have many choices as to what you could choose to do, however there was so much in the story that it didnt matter. Absoultely incredible. However, I wish it hadn't ended so abruptly. The ending to the entire series just kind of ended immediately after the climax. While I enjoyed all 8 (or 10, if you include 9 and 10 as a part of 8 like the creator), I think the very end was kind of a letdown. There wasn't really any explanation as to what ends up happening. Unless he is setting up yet another HP, in which case I would be thrilled, then I am a little disappointed. However, I LOVED this series. The writer is extremely talented and I encourage anyone interested in this website to embark on this incredible journey. Thank you for writing such a wonderful story. -Mike

This was ... beautiful. I can't describe how beautiful it was, because it was beautiful. If an equivalent of this was put into a novel and sold, it would probably become a bestseller.

I got the super-heroic ending, and there's not many more things I can say because this was just too good. Normally I list out all the bad things of stories, but this had none aside from some quotation marks missing.

I'll say again that it was beautiful. I've only done this one or two times before, but I'll give this 8/8.

I feel like this would make a good set of movies if you worked more things into flash backs and did the whole Baryon Story line. I would also work on some of the dialog to make it more believable and the whole brain damage equals immunity I would just think that an all powerful being would just heal your brain if it was that much of a problem. Ultimately I thought this was an excellent story I did not expect this kind of quality and was just blown away.

Okay, positively excellent ending. I would like to point out that there was a plethora of grammatical errors, and you often spelled the word 'lose' wrong; however, you're Icelandic, so I can't expect you to be perfect in this area. I loved how I had to think about who to use and how, as well as risk vs reward constantly. The characters, especially Masochist and Baryon, really made me appreciate them and how they were much better people than originally thought. I really enjoyed this, and it was quite challenging.

Awesome adventure and right up there with my all-time favorites. I still like the original story best of all though – perhaps because it was so fresh and new back then. Super-Heroic Ending Yo!
