Welcome to the Pokemon Personality Quiz Beta.
This is only a beta version. Therefore, be advised this may not be very accurate. So, be sure to try the newer versions when/if they come out.
If you have any problems with it, errors, certain questions don't seem very good, or you don't think the Pokemon you got suits you, please don't hesitate to tell me.
Also, if you have ideas for the quiz such as questions, please also tell me that as well.

Okay, thanks! I had another question though.
What if I want to show the percentage of how close someone got to a particular result?
Like for instance, let's say there's a page A and page B. There's also variable X, Y, and Z.
To get to page A: X must be 6, Y must be 4, and Z must be 5.
To get to page B: X must be 3, Y must be 9, and Z must be 3.
Now, at the end of the game let's say the player got 5 for all variables. They can't get either option because they don't have the right set of numbers.
But I want to give them what they got closest to, so I say "if they got numbers between 4 and 6 for all three variables, then they got to page A". This works cause now they'll get page A but not page B.
However, let's say there's a page C and to get to this page: X must be 5, Y must be 5, and Z must be 6. Now they'll be given both links. For the purposes of my game that's okay, they can both links so long as they can end up somewhere, but I still want to show them what they got closest to.
So, I want to show them they were closer to C then A. Like, "you were 99% a match for C" and "you were 95% a match for A".
Can I accomplish that? Is that do-able?

I want to add variables together on page and then divide them so I can create an average of the variables to show the player on screen. How would I achieve that?
I realize I can show variables numbers on page by using %% but I don't know how to add or divide them against each other.

So, I've been working on some flavour text for my personality quiz (well, actually I've been working on it before I started making it but I just didn't feel like implementing any of the flavour text or the pics in the beta version) but I'm sure if it's long enough or is any good. So, I made a quiz but some people are saying they want it to be longer. The problem is I'm all out of ideas for questions. Anybody got any?

Some of my variables are not working for no discernable reason. I changed the links so they aren't the reset links any more but some of them just don't work. Like, I have some variables called A1, B1, C1, etc, and most of them work but not A1. I tried everything. Changing the link, the numbers, renaming it, but it won't work. And it's not the page it links to because I tried substituting it with the SCORE variable and it now works.
I have several variables acting like this. I'm not sure how to fix it except maybe making new variables though I tried making a new variable and it didn't work ether. I need some help with this.

Okay, I checked it over it seems to only do that sometimes. I'm going to look through it and see what's the matter.
Edit: Okay, I checked and I found out what the problem is. Apparently even if a variable overwrites a link the game will reset the game if the actual link is the reset game thing. Didn't think it mattered what the link was since it was just going to be overwritten any ways but I guess it does.

I find that if my story goes to the next chapter all the variables get reset to 0. Is there a way I can make it not do that?
