Welcome to the site! Don't be an idiot and let us know if you have any questions.

I usually recommend reading and reviewing a few of the top rated stories before diving into one of your own, and having a browse through the scripting articles doesn't hurt. (Learning the basics of scripting can be a life saver as far as organization goes even if you don't intend to use it heavily.)

Oh, and if you're new to writing in general, feel free to ask for advice in the Workshop. CYOAs in particular can be a little tricky to plot out, they have a way of getting away from you.
