Howdy! To all visitors, first-timers, etc., I'm Badger, real-name Isaiah, college sophomore, shameless escapist and aspiring writer of fantastical fiction! I've been around for a good long while, even if it sometimes seems I don't come around too often anymore. While it's true I've only turned out 3 games so far, I'm hard at work on a fourth, "The Trip" which is so far my personal favorite. Stick around for it!

Storygames

The Gauntlet
I hope you enjoy this game! I have long been a big fan of this website and am proud to add my offerings to the large roster of cool games already here. Normally I would explain this game, but you'll find out everything you need to soon enough. I will say one thing: there are three good endings, each one better than the other! Try to find them all!

The Gauntlet II: Returning Home
This game is a sequel to the 3rd ending of the Gauntlet, in which, having escaped the dungeons of Tyrannica, you are trying to make your way back home. It is a difficult journey, which will take you through a vast wilderness and severely test your survival skills. But you must be up to it if you will ever free the slaves from Tyrannica...

P.S. There are 2 SECRET LEVELS in this game! Try to find them both! It won't be easy!

Vengeance
You've been betrayed by an unknown enemy, your friends have all been kidnapped, your family has been relocated and you have been diagnosed as insane and thrown in the mental institution. Now you're out--and it's time for vengeance!

TIP: Be careful what weapons you choose. Some weapons are good against some guys, and some are good for others.

P.S. For those of you who hated The Thumb, please let me know if I have redeemed myself by making this game.

Anti-Chicken Squad
unpublished
Based on the SCLUA fund (Stupid Chickens! Leave Us Alone) commercial from September the 14th VIII, this game shows a new side of the September the 14th universe. Whole squads of chickens are attacking the planet, and only the underfunded and outnumbered anti-chicken squad can stop them... and their mysterious overlord!

Cin City
unpublished

Cinema City isn't your average metropolis. It's the kind of place that seems right out of the movies. And you know something? Maybe it is...

Knight of the Living Dead
unpublished

You are Sir Arthur von Adrian, a strong and respected knight in medieval England. You have defeated many foes, saved many lives and fought many battles. However, when a mysterious magical explosion is seen in the sky near your estate, it creates an enemy perhaps even you cannot defeat. As the dead begin rising from the Earth to feast on the bones of the living, you are the only one able to stop them until reinforcements arrive.

The Trip
unpublished

You are Jackson Pittman, a high school senior on your senior trip at a hotel in the mountains. But more awaits you there than just skiing, sledding and hanging out with friends. Once there, you will find secret organizations, mystical artifacts, evil double-crossing lovers, billion-dollar ransom schemes and people who are just plain annoying. Incredible hi-jinks ensue...

[Low] Picture Uploader does NOT like PNG on 10/3/2009 3:18:06 PM

October's article says I can upload png. files as well as jpeg. and gif. files to My Pictures. But whenever I try to upload a png., this message comes up:

Request object error 'ASP 0104 : 80004005'

Operation not Allowed

C:\WEBSITES\CHOOSEYOURSTORY\CHOOSEYOURSTORY.COM\MY\PICTURES\../../Includes/FileUploader.vbs, line 31

What does this mean? And is it possible for me to upload png. picture files?

[Answered] Assigning Attributes to Items on 11/4/2008 9:45:29 PM
Is it possible to assign variable amounts to items? For instance, if I wanted to make, say, a sword that has a ATTACK value of 15, can I do that? Or do we not have a way yet?

The Wal*Mart UberEnding Project? (Spoiler!) on 11/2/2008 9:10:08 PM

I'd like to help, too.

Just part of it!

Zombie Games on 10/22/2008 11:56:19 PM

The Trip isn't the zombie game, Knight of the Living Dead is the zombie game!

The Trip is about... well, it's complicated.

All I meant was that I was putting all my other games on hold (including Knight of the Living Dead) to work on The Trip.

Just tried out the picture tags... they're genius!

Zombie Games on 10/22/2008 12:41:02 AM

Oh, crap... I have an unfinished zombie game in this site, too. Granted, I've put it (and all others) away and working only on The Trip, and it's a medieval zombie game, which I don't think has ever been done before (but don't quote me on that)...

Stil...

Is everyone sick of zombie games? If so, I wouldn't mind getting rid of it. It's not the best idea I ever had.

Burn After Reading on 10/22/2008 12:34:38 AM

It sounds good. I love the Coen Brothers. I've seen Blood Simple, Fargo, The Big Lebowski and Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? and they were all brilliant.

Has anyone seen No Country For Old Men, Barton Fink or Miller's Crossing? I want to know if they're any good.

Hatchet? Do you plan to make a game based on Hatchet? That sounds hard!

Lord of the Flies would make a great game, but as for Hatchet, I don't know...
