Just a writer looking to spill the fictional worlds and people in my head out to you. I am mostly interested in the horror genre, but I may venture out of my comfort zone eventually. Perhaps for an intriguing writing contest prompt? Who knows?
I will also make sure to read and comment on all the stories I can, new and old. I know that reading frequently makes me a much better author, so if you need someone to proofread your storygame(s), I'm happy to do it.
Currently Working On:
-Dead Signal (Horror/Zombie Survival)
If you've read/rated any of my stories, thank you!

The broadcasts stopped. The city fell. But AJ isn't ready to let go.
As a recent grad and intern at Pulse 9 News, AJ should’ve been long gone, but when the world ends overnight, she risks everything to cross the infected city and find the people she will come to care about most in this world.
Survive the streets. Outrun the dead. Decide who you can still trust.
In this choice-driven zombie survival story, every decision shapes the relationships that might save you, or destroy you.
Who will you become?
--------------------------
Edit: This storygame is inspired by BerkaZerka's Dead Man Walking storygame and various apocalypse media I've consumed throughout the years (TWD/TLOU/Train to Busan/Etc).

is there a word count/page limit? on 12/21/2025 1:57:50 AMfor reference, i'm at 25k words and 76 pages so far, which is about 20% of my storygame so far.
should i downsize, or does this seem fitting of a 7/8 or 8/8 length storygame?

You might not be looking for more input atp but idc.
As a relatively new user, I was a little taken back by this too when I first got here bc I'm usually in online forums where everyone is overly nice/PG. However, after actually starting to post in forums, it's clear to me that if you're here bc you actually love reading/writing, you tend to have overwhelmingly positive interactions.
Admin can smell bad intentions so just don't be a jerk and no one will be a jerk back. Sure, you might need to grow a backbone to be here long-term but that's good for you anyway.
At the end of the day, this is just the internet and you don't need to be friends with these people to get along with them. I personally love being able to interact with people that I normally wouldn't approach irl, being exposed to diverse communities (even those you might perceive as mean at first glance) is healthy.
I have never received as much genuinely helpful/constructive feedback on my writing as I do here, not even in my graduate program in university. So, if you really can't get past the comments you don't like, just write shit and stick to the creative corner or mind your business rating/posting story games. Nothing wrong with that.
Question on using AI for translations on 12/17/2025 3:37:20 AM
I do proofreading/copyediting for a living rn, so I don't mind coming through your storygame every once in a while as an editor to copyedit your spelling and grammar (SPaG). Depending on how long it takes you to write, I can log on every chapter or so if you're comfortable making me an editor. Can I ask what you're writing about?

issues w/ italicizing in a storygame desc. on 12/15/2025 11:31:46 PM
I tried to italicize one line of a storygame desc with one "< i >" command before the line...
ex. < i >Line one.
...and now the entire page and all the text is italicized on the page when i open the storygame, including the side tabs (home, storygames, forums, etc.) and the elements of the game (rating, length, etc.)
i've already tried closing the command with another "< i >" at the end of the line, but nothing changes.
any thoughts? ps. i spaced out the brackets from the i in the command to show them here, i didn't use any spaces when actually trying to use the command in the desc.

oh, great! it shouldn't be too long until it's published, but i'll let you know. and yeah, idk if i'll ever get into digital art but i'm sure it would be a long adjustment period before i'm comfortable with it, lol.

i have tried digital drawing time and time again, but i just can not get it down for some reason. and trying to use any sort of colored art tool for physical art is treacherous for me as well. so, my drawing and characters all live in black and white.
all of this to say, i love the color scheme here, and i envy your digital art skills.
(also, the story game i am currently working on is not yet published and won't be for a while. but if you are bored one day and interested in drawing some art of any of my characters, i would love to have you read what is done so far. your style is very cute. the story game is horror and about zombies, though, so i understand if you aren't into that.)
what do you prefer, as a reader? on 12/10/2025 9:35:27 PM
interesting, thank you. i actually know how to make the first happen and think i know how to do the second so ill look into them both.
