Book I of The Kythrosi Shadow

It has been four years since the Velg'larn Brotherhood, an order of elven assassins, was banded together under the guidance of Ethran Alamari, a night elf assassin whose personal quest against the dark elf empire of Akatar not only branded him forever with his title of The Kythrosi Shadow, but turned the tide of the greatest, and final, war between the tyrannical Akatari empire and the human kingdom of Savaeria. Now fifty-three years old with nearly forty years of experience and bloodshed beneath his belt, he undertakes his first assassination contract since forming the Brotherhood, a quest that nearly takes his life when a rogue dark elf assassin attacks him as he closes in on his kill. Heavily injured with no knowledge of his attacker's identity, Ethran must return to the base of the Velg'larn, a village located deep within the swamps of the Savaerian settlement in Akatar known as Telmora and discover who attempted to take his life and who hired them to.

I have been having these same issues every time I attempt to start making a new storygame---my tries at labeling the pages only end up confusing me or jumbling together into a mess when I try to make alternating storylines. So I have to ask, what is the best way to label my pages? How do you label yours? What has worked best/most efficiently for you?
