Can Pages be Moved to a Different Chapter?

10 years ago

I don't know wheather this belongs in here, or the Noob Central, but:

Life of a Warrior is now advanced. I did the change recently and made all the chapters I'm going to need, along with a couple of variables.

Now the question is: Can I move pages from chapter to chapter? Do I need to delete the page, and make a new page in the correct chapter, then copy paste the old page in to it. Is there an easier way of doing this? Because it will take at least an hour to recreate every page that doesn't belong in the first chapter, maybe even more.

No you can't. You need to remake the page. I've tried asking for a 'move page' feature and it was turned down.

Well, I made two pages already.

Two down, I don't even know how many to go.

Well, let me ask you something: Why are you moving the pages?

I made the pages earlier. I was hoping that I could find them more easily by making chapters.

Though, that's not the only reason I converted it.

For organization, then. Ok, then I don't have another solution for you. *shrug* It's got to be worth it to you to move them if you want them moved.

You do know you can Link across Chapters though right? (Meaning your Link can send you from say page 15 in Chapter 1 to Page 270 in Chapter 2.)

I would've explained that, but Rosetail said it was for organizing the pages.

I knew I could go from page whatever of chapter one, to page one of chapter two. But I haven't tried to link in the middle, so no.

Use
$DEST := @P500

Put it on the Link Script of ANY Page Link to make it go to whatever page in whatever Chapter you want (page 500 in the above example).
