Sweet. Anyway, It would be nice to have the checkbox not selected though, @Alexp, or at least have a way to change the default, as some of us check the forums every day and don't need the notifications... @Galobtter remembers a bug to post.

I agree. I think watch should have to be manually activated at all times.

Yep. 'Notify Me When Someone Posts in this Thread' should definitely be un-checked as default.

Did you guys notice the [WATCH] button in the top right, next to the [THREADED] button?

The checkbox saying "Notify Me When Someone Posts in this Thread", is the issue though. It's checked by default, and should be unchecked.

I think that he's talking about how easy it is to uncheck the box in the top right.

Okay. This is getting really annoying. The matter of the fact is, even after you uncheck them, every time you reply to a thread you MUST uncheck it again, or it will return to watch! Again! 

Another thing to add is that all the threads you've posted in previously have retroactively been set to "watch".

So bumping old threads to troll people can actually be annoying in a legitimate way now haha.

Hey @nmelssx. I'm wondering if you don't understand that this is a hobby that alex does on his free time. The fact that this site has been updated so much over the years and that new features are still being rolled out is a godsend. When you write posts like this one, you're being very rude.

Phrase your complaints in an objective fashion and politely, like galob did in the OP because Alex is doing you a favor.

Okay. Let me rephrase my complaint in an objective fashion then. 

"The watch button should be left uncheck." 

"I think the watch button should be left unchecked because the number of notifications I'm getting is excessive and it's hard for me to filter out the content that I want, from the content that I don't." is great! You're telling us what the problem is, how we can fix it and why we should, and you're not being rude.

Yes. Constructive criticism does sound agreeable. Unless they're coming from Drak. 

I'm not really interested in your feud with Drakilian and I'm only hearing about it from you. From my experience, he's been a consistently valuable site member. Constructive criticism is always good. From everyone.

If he's breaking site rules, PM me. Otherwise I think you need to focus on learning to interact well with others.
