This feature was rejected 8/8/2005: Already can do this. On the Link called "ENTER THE TOWN" set a variable called "SHOWLINK" to 6d20 (or whatever). Then you could check for that variable on a link restriction. If you want it to hapen multiple times, then do COUNT MULTIPLE checkbox.

Is it possible to make a link only appear #/# of the time? For example (Spoiler for Final Fantasy X) in Final Fantasy X there is a town called Besaid. In that town there is pathway that can't be seen very easily and has some treasure. If it was a text adventure it could use the feature so that a person only finds in 25/79 of the time. Would that be nice?

Yah, but what if it did that everytime you clicked on the link. It does each calculation on it's own everytime you enter that page. That would be awsome. Check out my leagal section in the game workshop. It is for you.

The "Count Multiple" checkbox would do the same thing. Just make sure to do a RESET as the change type.

Sounds like we can already do this, so I'm going to reject this feature.
