A lot of forums have this feature -- the ability to send another user a PRIVATE MESSAGE. I'm assuming everyone is famiilar with it, so I'm just curious what the demand for such a feature would be. Let me know your thoughts.

But only a few people have come on at all to the forums to leave a message like, "Help, I'm a newbie."

This would be a great idea,
if you were to set this thing up, you could bring back the [email protected] email addresses and instead of accessing through your server email, eg. http://mail.mydventuregame.com, you could access it directly from the site. If this works out, maybe you can implement a "send preview of game" where you can send any user of the site a game of yours that is unpublished and you can have "show chapters: Chapter 1 [Check] Chapter 2 [Unchecked] Chapter 3 [Checked] etc." You could and should also add the option of recieving and sending mail through Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express so you can manage email from familiar folders.

Good news gang! I've decided to accept my suggestion and start on it.

I don't know how useful it will be, but it looks like a fun thing to program, so, I'm going to do that.
