I hate adding items, mainly because it's just going back and forth multiple times, I think it should be so that if you are making the item right there and then, you could upload a picture from the Item, instead of making a picture in My Pictures, going back to the Items, selecting the picture you want, then uploading it.

Why can't we have Embedding from web links?

Many websites and forums have since forever something like this

[img] httpthisisalink/link/image.png [/img], which would not appear as the text you see, but as the image from that link, provided it exists and ends in an image-specific extension.
