Idea: Allow users up to 5 or so different pages in the notepad

How it would work: The notepad might have a tab for each page or a button that allows you to navigate between pages.

Why we need it: While some people see the notepad as a semi-useless feature, it is very helpful because it allows you to keep track of information without having to leave the site. However, it can be difficult to keep notes for different games (assuming people besides me use it to help write games) from getting mixed up. Also, suppose I keep some "on-page script" stuff jotted down in my notepad. Well, those things can be lengthy, and having multiples of that kind of thing on a single page can be hideous and difficult to mess with.

A text file that you can make on your desktop is literally two, three clicks away...

one click if it's on the taskbar... the notepad on the site isn't very useful o-o at least, not for me; I don't see a reason to put "pages" into the notepad - just make a storygame for notes and don't publish it; you can just create a new page for notes.

Click counter:

1. open word processor

2. Go to file > open

3. Search your files

4. Click on the file

That, and you are having to deal with a lot of other clutter, if you go that way.

Notepad click count:

1. Click my stuff

2. Click notepad.

3. Click on page tab.

You wouldn't have to leave the site or have an obnoxious number of windows open, if you frequently go back and forth between your storygames.

You obviously don't know what a desktop is :L because the only thing in that gif is a taskbar and a piece of the webpage... Either way the gif proves it takes 1 click to open notepad from the taskbar.

Your sleep disorder must be contagious - *Yawns. Except I'm getting the opposite effect from it. My eyes are...so sleepy. Desktop is so sexy... On a serious, note, though, I never doubted that it takes any less than 1 click to open a text file on the taskbar.

Okay, I'm going to be blunt. I do a lot of fucking writing (essays, business documents, writing projects for various websites). My document files are near impossible to navigate and having a folder dedicated to this site would be a lot of work on me. Not to mention that it would take me several minutes just to find the stuff. I don't feel that I am asking for something totally unreasonable.

Just put a folder called CYS on your desktop.

Hmm...okay, that never really occurred to me, but still being able to view them on this site would make things slightly easier...for me, anyway.

You could always make a "notes" chapter, and then add pages that don't link to anywhere to hold notes in it.

Hmm...okay. Forget I ever mentioned any of this.
