Could we have it so that the Random Storygames button doesn't give you stories you've already played through? I don't see why it should anyway.

That'd be pretty cool.

It does because it's random.

He's suggesting that a game be pulled at random from the games that you haven't yet played. It should be possible. Afterall, the site can keep track of the games you've played. I don't know all the code behind it, but it should be possible for the random button to only pull from unplayed games.

He's implying the feature should already be implemented, when "random" by its very nature shouldn't have some condition set to it.

Maybe if you called this modified feature "Find a new storygame for me", it'd make sense, but the "random story" feature is working exactly as intended.

I don't really disagree with the suggestion though.

Well, most people don't click the "random" button to play games they've already played, regardless of what it's called. Maybe if they played one game they really liked that they can't remember the name of and they are willing to click upwards of 1,000,000,000 times to find it.

Agreed with James. In general I don't think there's too much practical use for the random storygame feature other than seeking out new games out haven't played before.

Having said that, I do sometimes click on the random games link to pick a category. Then I play the lowest rated game in that category that I haven't played. So actually, it can be useful.

I agree. I grow tired of seeing the same 'Survive as a leader' over and over again.
