i know on other forums that ive been on the people running the site would put certain people on "Probation" for a certain period of time. doing this would allow the mods to see who really was causing the trouble. the probation was done privately so that certain people would just disapear for a week or two and everyone else wouldnt even know it. it wasnt a permanent ban, just a temporary one till order was restored.

implimented here. we, meaning you alex, could possibly set it up so that certain people would be banned from posting. either in games or forums and see if that keeps the chaos down. they wouldnt be banned for ever just maybe 2-3 weeks. if its found out that they are the ones responsible then you can deal with that however you would like. cause like you are the dude! lol just my thoughts.

The problem is that anyone can just go and create a new account. If you've invested no capital (i.e., building a name for yourself, making neat games), then there's nothing to lose by losing your account.  And I can't stop someone from making 10000 accounts.If there was a way to verify an person's identity, then we could keep it to one account/person. But, shy of requiring a credit card (and even then, you can have many CCs), I don't know a way of doing that.

The real trick is to ignore & delete. Moderators (I think) love useing their "powers", so really, the "valdalizers" are really just keeping the Mods "employed." I will make it easier for Mods to kill comments, posts, and even games, but as far as trying to ban people, it's a battle that can't be won.
