Stronger password security!

There is a huge security issue. You need to make sure that passwords actually match the one you created. I have done a test. I have logged out my account and capitalized the first letter of my password. It worked, then I logged out again,  and used a lowercase letter for my password. Guess what, it worked. This is a huge security issue hopefully, you will also notice the other password issues too.

Huh. Interesting. Hopefully this is fixed, or improved upon.

Or perhaps it is a convenience issue. After all, it is an actual serious risk that someone logs into your account?

And is it really a "huge" security issue if capitalization doesn't matter?

My apologies for grammar. However, you get the point.

Here could be an example, say you were working on a storygame its almost finished, you just need to fix some spelling errors. You logon only to find out that your friend, got into your account, and changed some things to be helpful, but now the story sucks. This is what could happen if you were imbecilic enough to give your password to a friend or co-author. However, not everyone is that dumb.

Actually, no. The point is that this place isn't tracking your paycheck or bank account. It's really not a big deal that passwords contain only case of letters instead of two. It's not a likely target for hackers to steal your story.

Like I have stated earlier, there are other password issues as well, if you all are saying that this should not be fixed, then what is the point of having a password in the first place? Why dont we have it to where you just type in your username and your in? We all know that there are idiots in this world, and by making sure that passwords are secure, it will create a better enviorment for all of us at cyoa

Now, I do understand what you are getting across. There is a fine line between having enough security and having too much security. However,  to sum up what I am saying, the point of passwords is to be safe and memorizable. I am not saying that everyone needs to have their passwords changed at all. However, I think that these inconviences is defeating the purpose of having a password in the first place.

First of all, in your example, you gave your password to someone else.  Capitalization mattering won't magically fix that problem.

Second, I have no clue what you mean by "The inconvenience of passwords is defeating the purpose of having a password in the first place."

You're arguing that if capitalization doesn't matter, we might as well not have passwords at all?
