Alex, can you please make a way so that we can add pictures from other sites as our items and as regular pictures w/o having to turn off HTML?  Mabey have a way so that you can choose to put in a picture you uploaded here or a picture from another site.  Photobuckets.com is a great place for that.  They don't allow pictures over 1 Meg. and they can be any size.  I have an account there so that I could put some pics on another site.  So, can you add a way to put in the Source?

I think it's a good idea -- but I'm not sure we want to encourage users to do this. The reason that pictures are restricted here is b/c we feel that pictures any bigger (file-size or dimensions) would provide a bad experience for the readers.

Think about how bad an otherwise well-written storygame would be if it had huge pictures that took up the whole screen?

Yah, but pictures I scan even at half size, are still bigger that the size we are aloud.

I agree we should get some more space.

email or link me to the pics that are too big ... just so i can see an example of what we're talkinga bout

1204 by 680 is the largest picture I uploaded, I can't resize that down w/o losing good quality.

newer laptops and desktops are 1024x768...

My screen has a higher resolution.

1248/1024 or something like that.  I know its in the twelves and the tens.
