There should be a way to denote the "best ending" in a story. Maybe you could check a box on a certain link or page. Just a thought after reading the thread "Number of times played/finished".

Probably won't be happening. To alter this you can use the SCORE variable, which I think is being included in the Classic Editor soon (if I remember rightly the suggestion got accepted). Just say in the storygame description what score is the highest. Think it'll probably clog it up a bit.

Point taken. But what I'm saying is to make a way to establish and allow the computer to know what is the best ending. I forgot to include that there should be an addition to the 'number of times played and finished' line under the game stats (i.e. game length) which would say 'number of times played: # number of times finished: # number of times best ending reached: #, or something like that.

Although I guess this thing would be redundant in games only allow you reached the End Game link if you get the [spiritual] best ending.
