Importable variables.

I would like to be able to make connections between two storygames. That way, the variables from the first one will be exactly like they were when the reader moves onto the next one. This would mean that sequels wouldn't just continue from a certain ending, but includes every single decision that was made during the first one. Now, I have no idea whether this is possible or not, but if it is, I think this would be a big plus.

Well, currently, you could do it through a roundabout method. At the end of the first story, have a code generated based on the variable scores of the character (so if their HP was 15 and their Strength was 10 then their code might be 1510 or something, you can use other symbols instead of numbers if you want to prevent cheating) but then have them input this code at the beginning of the second story and give them their attributes based on that.

Also, I totally second this suggestion, it would be awesome.

Why not combine them into one storygame?

That doesn't have the same ring to it if you ask me. When I divide stories into several parts, they have a beginning, a middle and an ending. Having that appear three times is...well...I'd rather have three parts although combining them is of course possible.

What about dividing one storygame into Acts?

I already do that, despite the fact that my stories often come in several storygames.
