I have had experiences in the past, not recently though, where someone has added me as a co-author without asking me. Though I appreciate them doing this, I don't like it when they don't ask first because some people add me to their games and I really don't want my name up there.(Either because the game is bad or I just don't want to work on their story.)

So I'm wondering if we could make it that the only way to be a co-arthor is if the original author requests you and then you choose to accept so it's not automatically so.

What do you guys think?

I want this implemented because some people can add you without you knowing and then post the game and then all of a sudden your name is on a bad game.

I agree with this. I forget who it was (Either Cysid2 or TeamJack) who added me to their story for no reason and I had to remove myself.

Few questions...

1. Do you get a notification when you're added as a co-author?
2. Do games that you're a co-author of show up under My Games?
3. Can you remove yourself as a co-author?

Have users been appropriately warned/penalized?

I've been added numerous times but it doesn't take much effort to remove oneself.

I only think this would become a problem if a troll adds a user to a storygame with an inappropriate title/description and it shows up on the user's profile page. I've been added as a co-author without my consent a few times but each time it doesn't take much to just remove myself from the position.

This happened to me one time, I don't remember who it was though. I just clicked remove, but it was a little surprising since I didn't know people could just add you without telling you.

I'm surprised crazy things didn't happen to that story before you removed your Co-Authorship. Eh, surprised isn't the right word. I'd say let down. I was hoping to read about something cynical.
