Let me explain:

The creator would like to have multiple amounts of the same item.  But, you can only create one item.  That bites if you are trying to create an in-game shop.  So, I'd like to have the ability to get unlimited items in a certain place... as long as you have the requirements, of course.

YES!!! this is what I need!!! Holy crap, cryptode, a bunch of items were created multiple times so i could have it found in different spots. ALEX, ADD THIS TO THE SITE!!!!!!!

OK -- so lets say you have a Page that has an Unlimeted amount of HEALING POTIONS. Can the user pick it up 100 times? Or once each time he goes to the page? Or, only if he doesn' thave it already.

we were thinking, if a variable amount is true. like if he can afford the potion. what you can have is unlimited potion for that page, but it can only be "picked up" once a page visit, so you go"back" and then click link again which has a variable restricion for a variable (eg.) MONEY, and restriction is you need min. of 100 MONEY because the cost is 100

That makes sense. As far as the player experience, each time he goes back, a new HEALTH POTION (or whatever) would appear in his inventory. I don't think we want to mess with quantities -- separate items make sense.

Just have a little two at the top corner of the screen and make it useable twice.

Of course!  I'd like to sell multiple items & offer healing & battle items too.  Man, EVERYONE agrees with me on this.  (Give me 15 points for this ;)
