Now this is a question which I've been willing to ask you guys for a while now.

"If you had a time machine, where would you go?"

I'd go to Ancient Egypt, to be a king and arise as a mummy!

I'd go to the year 3000 and see what kind of cool stuff they invented.

Probably flying cars?

In the year 3000? Dude, they probably made flying pigs or something, flying cars were probably made in the 2100's or so.

In a way, helicopters are flying cars. Just instead of floating through obscure science they have choppers.

What's the point? Everyone knows that flying cars are gonna be invented by the end of next year. Back to the Future said so.

The earth will probably have like friggan plants and shit, nothing else by then. And if there is humans they'll be so damn advanced you'd go into shock the first time you saw them. Either that or the earth will have gone through hundreds of world wars by the 4000's or so and totally fucked itself up with radiation and shit and it'll be a wasteland.

I would go back to the 1800's, specifically with a AK-47 and two handheld guns, body-armor, grenades, and a hunting knife. And hunt down as many slave masters as I could. And of course, realistically, I would have to kill some of my own people because there're were slaves who loved there slave masters and protected them at all costs...I just would hope it's not one of my distant grandfathers......that would mean ''bye-bye'' for my existence.

See, that's the problem with fucking with time. If you go back to the 1800's with a hole buntch of motternday shit and kill as many slave masters as possible, you run the risk of either killing one of your great great great grandfathers in the cross-fire, or if they try to protect their master, at which point you'd just go poof.

Anyways, it's not a question of "where" it's a question of "when" XD but anyways, like someone posted above, definitely not the past. It could fuck up time by a shitload. Probably 2552, to see if the covenant have attacked yet :P

I would also go to Egypt but just to see is Cleopatra was actually that beautiful. Then I would go back and prevent the death of Alexander the Great and join him in conquering Asia. After that I would go find George Lucas and kick him in the nuts telling him not to direct Episodes I-III. After all is done, I'll get some nice shiny armor, a few strong horses, and some powerful guns. Once I have my equipment, I'll go back to the time of the Aztecs and live like a god.

You could make your own version of The Game Of Life on that sort of adventure!

Damn straight. They will worship me and build monuments in my figure. The prettiest Aztec girls will all be my brides and bear my demigod children. Once I come close to the day of my death, I will tell them that I am to leave my physical body and trencend into the spiritual plane. Then, they will worship me forever and make stories about how I tamed the Earth and created the moon.

I'd go into modern time on the very spot where my time machine is right before i travel to the spot where my time machine is. 

The result would be an endless loop of time traveling chaos. :P
