I want to check how many words are in my story. How do I find out?

Hover the cursor over the number of the Play Length section on the front page.

I think he's asking about the unpublished story (the published one isn't his) so more specifically, click the title under My Storygames and then you get the same title and description page you would if it were published. Hover the mouse over the ?/8.
