Hello CYS members!

I'm trying to get used to drawing digital, so I would like somebody or anybody to give me a small little suggestion on what I could draw! Nothing inappropriate!
It might not be the best, but I'm trying! :D

Wait, then how does Hatter's Sketchbook hold up MHD's pictures?

Well, you see, it's all due to this one code called "<Img src='URL'>". This fun little guy displays the image remotely while it is being hosted on another site.

For example, if I put in the code:
<img src="https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/019/324/dogmeat.jpg">
The following image is displayed:
 

Alternatively, if you are currently using the Rich Text Editor (which I assume you are if you're using CYS to host pictures), You can just click on the lil landscape photo thing right above the "Size" option and paste the link to the image in there.

I hope that this helps you understand.

Also, I right-clicked Sir Jackson, but I only had these options.

"Open Image into New Tab, Save Image As..., Copy Image, Copy Image Adress, and Inspect"

OK! How do you get a full resolution image? I logged on to Imgur and posted the Scary Duck image, but how do I get a full resolution image?

I wanted it to be small to save up a little space, but it might be too small.

But, I thought I was a shitty artist.

I'm not sure what you can still be confused about. You draw the picture, you post the picture to imgur or something, and you show the picture here. There's no resizing or anything needed.

But, I do wonder how to get the full resolution image.

The image should be at full resolution when you've finished drawing. There shouldn't be a problem. Unless, y'know, you're resizing them after you've finished drawing.

The full res image is literally just the finished product of your drawing after you drew it. You upload that drawing to imgur or a similar file sharing site and send the link, or embed the link however that works on these forums.

... What is this... "webp" extension...? Instead of having something like "BabyYoda.jpg" or "BabyYoda.png" it's something like "BabyYoda.webp".

A few questions:

Are you using a computer, or a tablet, or a phone or something to draw these?

What app do you use to draw these?

If you can, can you walk me through the process of uploading them?

Don't worry, I sound mean sometimes, too. ;-;

1. I'm using a computer (BUT WANT A TABLET SO BAD)

2. puddlebunni suggested Medibang so I tried it. Medibang is now the program I use.

So, in Medibang, we draw the drawing (XD) then press "Save As...". You can convert the file into a JPG, PNG, and a GIF. I usually convert the drawing into a PNG. I then upload the PNG to Imgur.

Hm... then why the HECC is it showing up as a webp...

My computer might be broken-

It's nothing to do with your pc, it's the way you're uploading the picture to the forum. Webp is basically a smaller version of PNG which is why it's so pixelated. Try looking up "convert webp to png/jpg" in google and use one of the converters.

Aw, I think you did great (especially considering what I threw at you and that you're tabletless). You won't get any criticisms from me, but I hope you've been able to pinpoint the parts you yourself aren't happy with. Knowing is half the battle, after all!

I'm actually surprised you don't know what a Pusheen is, mizal. But, it's this cute fat grey cat doing various things (like eating, for example)

Your art is not bad, you know. Certainly beyond what I would call beginners' work.
I also have a request:

A regular-looking person, but with a prosthetic arm that looks homemade, as if constructed out of spare parts and scrap. However advanced the arm is or how talented the person is in designing the arm is up to you--I am excited to see how you interpret this!

I'm willing to bet the dislikes are from people who searched for Baby Yoda art--y'know, those Wholesome 100 Cute Heartwarming Baby Yoda wanting nuggies kind of people. I wouldn't take that individual picture's ratings seriously, considering the people who care enough to look up Baby Yoda pictures.
