Ther should be an option (a checkbox like the others) in the account and setting part of the my stuff.  It should be - enlarge avatar on click.  If a user checks it, then when they click on an avatar on the forums it will open in a new window, enlarged.

Why should it be an option? Anything wrong with always clicking on it and having it display full size?

If you accidently click on it, it woul suck cuz then you have a whole other window pooping up. Especially for those people with 56k connections.

nah, the "option" thing seems weird, it should just be default... A popup window containing an image, which is 400 X 200 px, (i think thats the My Pics req.), is no more than 300 kb, depending on the image format. It would take a 56k machine, 6 seconds to load the image...

exactly. 6 seconds.  Too long. give it an option.

Why not make it a pop-up?
